Amanda Cox MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC offers compassionate psychiatric treatment to adults living in Bellevue, Washington and across all of Washington State. Amanda works together with her patients to create a personalized treatment plan. This is accomplished by taking the time to listen, ask questions, and learn more about the challenges each individual patient has been facing.
Amanda conducts a thorough psychiatric evaluation with each patient that covers the patient’s history, current symptoms, as well as their treatment goals. She takes the time to discuss different treatment options, as well as medications that may help to address the patient’s symptoms.
Amanda frequently treats patients who have been struggling with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and sleep disorders. She also has experience helping patients with smoking cessation and alcohol use disorder.
As a provider who specializes in psychiatric medication management, Amanda is able to recommend the most appropriate medication to address each patients’ symptoms. She often recommends therapy in conjunction with medication to achieve the best results from treatment. While Amanda does not provide psychotherapy herself, referrals may be available.
Amanda Cox is an ANCC board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who completed her advanced practice education and Master’s Degree at The Ohio State University. She completed her undergraduate education and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from South Dakota State University.
